Onwards.
Well I think this is the 9th year our site has been up an running. Alot has changed since I first built it, I have come through redundancy, we have been on our 1st family holiday to Dubai and instead of opening a coffee bar business in Wakefield we returned to the UK with an investment property in Dubai! But now it is 2010 and all has changed again in 09. We managed to get rid of the property in Dubai before the crash and my MS has got worse. Jill has now become a driving instructor and although we bought a NEW Toyota iQ which we both thought students would love learning to drive in. Then the bloody DSA decided to say that this car wasn't suitable and so we had to get out of that and all we could afford was a Yaris. It's easy to say but none the less TRUE.... Why doesn't anything ever seem to go right for us?

I was medically discharged from the Navy in 1999 and worked my way up to a good position at Yorkshire Post on a Farming magazine but then I got made redundant. We'd already bought a 5 bed detached house on the back of my good job as the thought process was to move up the ladder quickly so that we could come down later and have some money. But now everything had changed and we can't really afford the large mortgage, the house is too big for me to manage with my MS having got worse and the house has been up for sale for over 2 years and it just won't shift! I was redundant for 7 long months traveling the length of the country to try and find a job, because I was always honest and told people every time that I has MS I never got them! For those of you that then say well that won't stop you getting a job, well.................. the 1st interview I went to where I didn't mention it I got the job!!! What does that say about the world we live in eh? Just because my legs are shite doesn't mean that my brain doesn't work!

Although the stress has defiantly made my MS and self confidence worse I am still determined to crack on, stay positive and try to get a breakthrough somewhere. I must say the people I have come across recently whilst working on a project have been absolutely brilliant and I must say thanks to them, people like Thor Johannsson are true gentlemen! Even people I have dealt with in the USA through my full time work have been so very kind, so from the bottom of my heart I say Thank You!
